Dr. Nelly Lugo-Larcheveque PT, DPT, has been practicing in outpatient, orthopedics, and sports medicine since 1992. She works with clients in her studio providing individualized wellness sessions to assist with injury prevention, management of musculoskeletal conditions, and maintenance of healthy function since 2006. She maintains her certifications as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and Nationally Certified Pilates teacher. She is a certified Schroth Scoliosis Physical Therapist completing her level 1 training with Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS) and Level 2 training with Scoliosis Spine Online (SSOL), both under the tutelage of Dr. Hagit Berdishevsky.

Other certificates of training include Graston technique, Cyriax Technique and biomechanical foot evaluation and orthotics prescription. She specializes in Dance Medicine having worked with the Hartford Ballet, the Hartt School, notable traveling companies, local dance companies, and schools since 1992.She is a Pilates Educator and instructor since 2000.

Dr. Lugo-Larcheveque received a bachelors degree in Physical Education in 1988 at Adelphi University. During this time she minored in Athletic training and took prerequisite classes in exercise physiology. She received her degree in Physical Therapy in 1992 at the University of Connecticut. In 2015, she received her doctorate in Physical therapy with Utica College.

Dr Lugo-Larcheveque has enjoyed athleticism from youth to present. This includes bodybuilding, running, cycling, high school gymnastics, college track, ballroom and Latin dancing, Tae Kwon-do, and Tough Mudders. She continues with Pilates and fitness training, mostly 10Ks with occasional 5Ks and half| marathons, and Latin dancing
